About: 

I grew up next to a hockey field watching my mom coach and I started playing when I was 5. In 2016 I captained the SA u/16 B girls hockey team and we played in a Tri-nations tournament against Namibia and Zimbabwe. In 2018 I played for the SA u/18 A girls hockey team in a test series against Australia and later on that year I was privileged enough to be part of the SA Youth 5's team that placed 4th at the Youth Olympic Games. In 2020 I played in the summer series against the Netherlands as part of the SA u/21 team in preparation for the Junior World Cup to be held in 2021. I was also selected for the SA All Stars Indoor team twice at u/16 and once at u/18. I represented the WP Women Indoor team in 2019 and 2020 at Indoor IPT.

Currently:

I am currently studying medicine at UCT

Role Model:

My mom because she taught me two things: play for the love of the game, and, if there's no blood or bones - suck it up and play

Career Highlight:

My highlight would have to be playing in the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in 2018
